Happy Birthday! I was so happy Harrison did this because at least i'll get something to you on your birthday this year. And you can probably just assume your birthday present from us will come sometime in October. haha anway...
Happy Birthday!!! I am so grateful for you in my life. You are one of my best friends and I am so grateful for your friendship. I love everything about you. You are so much fun to be around and there is no pressure to be anyone but myself around you. I feel like I can tell you anything and you will not judge me or go tell other people. You are the best example of a true friend. Anyone that is your friend probably feels the exact same way.
I am so grateful that these two guys were mission companions so that we could become great friends.
Ben and I both have fond memories of Provo because of you and Harrison...and Jack of course. You guys moving into the C&L apartments was one the the best things that ever happened to us (and I am not exaggerating). It all started when we decided to switch off dinners once a week. As once a week moved to twice a week and then twice a week turned into at least 4 or 5 times a week our friendship grew. I have never felt so comfortable at someone's home. Whether it was playing games or watching Gillmore girls, I always felt comfortable. Thank you for always welcoming us into your home and having us stay way past our welcome and Harrison's bed time. Having you guys move away was one of the saddest days for us but I am so grateful for the time that we had together. Ben and I miss those days but as all of us have talked about, we will be neighbors in about 15-20 years and we will bring back out the Wii, settlers of Catan, or bang and play into the wee hours of the night.
This scene is so familiar. And as you can see, I was in my favorite spot on your couch.
You are such an amazing mom. I have thought this since the day Jack was born and as I saw you, almost everyday for a year a half, I saw what a selfless and giving person you were. You were a great example of a loving mom and you gave me the confidence as I began to think about getting pregnant. Now that I have one and you have two, you have eased my worries of having another one. I look up to you in so many ways. As I stayed with you a few months ago, I saw how strong you are as a wife of a deployed military man and as a mother of two. I was in awe of all the things that you do as you are by yourself with two active and cute boys.

Again, thank you for being one of my best friends and always being there for me even though we live thousands of miles apart. I am still a little bit mad at Harrison and Ben for bringing us together and then tearing us way apart and making us live pretty much as far away as possible. But you are my truest friend and I love you so much! Happy Birthday and I can't wait to see you in June!
Love,
Hannah
